When it comes to the best in the mice, we often try to find one that achieves a golden balance, with respect to price and performance. However, the SteelSeries Rival is 710, which is a mixture of a high-performance, adaptability, and well worth your attention, even if it is more cost effective than the majority of high-end gaming mice. This is the SteelSeries Rival 710 Review.
$99 r $ 99 and R$140), a Rival to the 710 this is an expensive gaming mouse. It will automatically be out of the reach of the majority of the users, making it a niche product, especially when compared to its predecessor, the Rival of the 600 for $79 (us $ 79, AU$139). However, the list of features makes the high price acceptable.
SteelSeries is a brand name for marketing of the OLED display, and haptic feedback on a mouse, but for those gimmicky features to play second fiddle to the huge number of modular supports to the screen.
SteelSeries Rival 710 Review: Design
Straight out of the gate, the SteelSeries Rival, the 710 is a great mouse. Now, generally, we prefer larger mice, because they are simply more comfortable for you. But for the sake of the OLED display, the vibration of the engine, and all interchangeable parts, the SteelSeries has just a little bit caught in the back of a huge mouse. But to balance it out, it’s incredibly comfortable in your hand. Instead of a hard plastic than many of the other mice in the SteelSeries Rival, the 710 has a soft-touch material that covers almost the whole of the device.
This makes it one of the comfiest mice I have used in a long period of time, especially for those long gaming sessions. However, there are a lot of buttons here. Only eight of them – with three programmable buttons on the side, and the CPI switch behind the scroll wheel on your mouse. You don’t have to think about how to use the mouse – and it’s not just the mechanics of the division-of-fire switches are able to 60 million times, but almost all of the parts of the mouse, it as you normally would.
The cable, back cover, rear logo, even though the sensor can be removed and replaced by the user. This means that you can completely customize this mouse, but it’s also that you can update your Rival, the 710’s more powerful sensors are being launched in the future. In addition, with replaceable cables, the cable should not be a problem. Out-of-the-box, there are two different types of cables, one 1-metre non-braided cable and a 2-metre non-braided cable is the last one we would prefer.
Then there are the more “unique” features of the net of 710. On the left-hand side of the mouse, next to the three buttons on the side, it’s an OLED display. It’s not very big, but you can change the image that appears, and you can even display a GIF. There is currently no support for color, but the tuning possibilities are almost endless.
There is also a vibration from the engine to the back of the mouse. You can set it up to go out on a timer or when an individual button. This is especially useful in games such as League of Legends or DOTA 2, where you will have a way to keep them under control. It is not compatible with the standard rumble functionality with the Xbox One controller, but maybe this is something that can be implemented through software in the future.
Features
After playing around with these new features, I don’t see much sense in it. They are cool, and the vibe has the potential to be useful when the playback of the recharge based on the scenario of the partnership. But as long as we spend maximum amount of time to the game, Metro 2033, and Resident Evil 2, we were not able to get much out of it.
Both of these great resources, in addition to the two-zone RGB lighting, is controlled by the SteelSeries Engine software. By using this app, you can control each and every aspect of your mouse, from the lighting, to the role of a key, you can adjust the settings, such as the movement of the angular rate of the survey. The Software is so powerful that it can be overwhelming when it is done well, but we’re happy to report that it works flawlessly and without breaking a sweat.
The SteelSeries A Rival to the 710 this is an expensive mouse, but it’s so packed full of features, the high price is justified with the right kind of user. This is not a mouse for those who are looking for a miracle in value, but not the kind of person who likes to have everything connected to the game-installation of a comparable (and very high quality.
SteelSeries Rival 710 Review: Performance
It also has an influence on the actual performance of the mouse, as you would expect from one of the mouse, you will drop $100. The sensor is limited to the first 12,000 of the beats-per-inch (CPI), which is shorter than that of the 16,000 we’ve seen in many of the other high-end mice. But SteelSeries is included in the TrueMove 3 sensor, which is found in our favorite gaming mouse, the SteelSeries Rival is 600. This is an incredibly accurate sensor, which makes it possible to keep up with the 1:1, it doesn’t matter what the bureau of labor statistics is set up.
In our time with the SteelSeries Rival for the 710, we found that performance is spot on. This mouse is butter soft, no matter what game you play. Even on high-resolution displays – the-game-PC that is connected to a 3,440 x 1,440, and a monitor in 4K – about this mouse was not without frustration. There has been no perceptible micro-movements, which is especially helpful when playing ” Resident Evil 2 – we make sure that our hands were shaking a little bit.
It would have been nice to have the same sensor as the secondary Rival is 600 to reduce the movement of the mouse when it is turned off on the mouse pad. But we have mosquito screening on here.
SteelSeries Rival 710 Review: Conclusion
Is the SteelSeries Rival, the 710 is one of the best mice on the market. The price can make you want to get away from the us for $99 ($99,$149 is too much to ask for a mouse, but in general, you get what you pay for here. The OLED display and the tactile feedback is a bit of a gimmick, but they won’t do anything to diminish the experience of a simple life. Even if they did, the modular design of the mouse more than makes up for it. Some of the mice that are the most cost-effective.
