There are a couple of years ago, Logitech have come up with a winning formula with their MX-master of the mouse. This is a high-performance, productive use of the peripheral device was not cheap, but it offered everything that all the users are required to master the work area: buttons, thumb controls and gesture to a horizontal displacement of the wheel, and a robust software suite. MX-Master 2, followed a few years later, with a longer service life of the battery, and it’s a fun new feature to the software. This is the The Logitech MX is the Master Of 3 Review.
The Logitech MX is the Master, 3 in the mouse ($100) is not radically different from its two predecessors, but it’s the most refined version yet. From the perform a re-design of the thumb, and the gesture button, and an extremely long service life of the battery, to the new scroll-wheel technology, the MX is a Master, the 3 is probably the best quality and the productivity of the mouse, you can buy it.
The price can be off-putting, and I wish the software was a bit softer. Also, Logitech has provided a compelling example of the utility of the MX Master 3 in just about every standard program in the office.

The Logitech MX record in the Master 3 and is a great, ergonomically designed, and with the right hand on the mouse, measuring 4.9 x 3.3 x 2.0 cm). It weighs in at 5.0 ounces and runs on a lithium-ion battery, rechargeable li-ion battery. My only complaint here is that there is no place for the mouse to store the tiny dongle that just begs to get lost as soon as you remove it from the USB port. The credit goes to one of the high-profile, and very useful in the corners that the MX Master and it can be held comfortably in your hand for up to 3 hours. On the palm, and the thumb rests, both of which are slightly textured and matte finish that is fingerprint-resistant.
There is also a button on the layout, it’s so much better than the design of the two previous models. The mouse also has left and right click on the right button of the mouse, an adjustable scroll wheel and a handy wheel on the horizontal. But, at this time, the thumb buttons are in a separate, side-by-side models, rather than the cluttered, narrow, triangular models that Logitech have used in the past. In addition, the action of the buttons on the thumb rest, there is a clear will to keep, instead of just pressing on the thumb rest, and hoping for the best.
One of the most exciting progress, however, is the vertical displacement of the wheel. You can click on a button to change the scroll wheel between the a long time to shake out, and a loose, free-scrolling mode.

The MX is a Master, the 3 prides itself on the different types of wireless connections. USB, Bluetooth, Mac os x, Windows, Android or even on iOS (with some modifications), it works with any system and all the major connection protocols. Since you can pair it with up to three devices at the same time, you don’t have a pair, and get it repaired too many times; and even then, it takes less than a minute.
Logitech it also says that the MX record in the Master 3 has an impressive battery life – 70 days on a full charge. We can’t verify that because we’ve had the device for a few weeks now, but have not yet made a big dent in the battery life as of yet. The device takes three hours to fully charge, or you can get a three-hour duration of a one-minute quick-charge. The update to the USB-C has had some tangible benefits. It is worthwhile to discuss the scroll wheel and the thumb buttons in some detail. When you install the Logitech software, those entries can do some amazing things.
The software is pre-installed with a different profile, changing the functionality of the inputs, depending on the program you are using. In Google Chrome, for example, the thumb buttons will take you backward and forward through web pages, while the scroll-wheel of the horizontal switch between the tabs. When you go into Microsoft Word, and the thumb buttons are to undo or redo the last command, while the smooth scroll-wheel to zoom the map in and out.
You can use the action button to switch back to the desktop or to another program, or to do any other thing that you can program into them. While the Options that come with about a half-dozen of pre-installed profiles for Microsoft Office, the Adobe Suite and the like), you can also customize your profile and set your extra buttons to do just about anything. You can assign the command from the keyboard, media controls, and even 3D rotation. The options that are available for all tap students, to graphic designers.
The only problem is that the Logitech Options, in and of itself is not as powerful as it could be. In the beginning, I couldn’t get to the Options in order to recognize the MX record in the Master, 3 in all, I had to switch to a Bluetooth device. Even now, when I use the USB dongle, you do not give me a battery in the estimates, or allow me to use the profile-specific commands. I could provide numbers to the DPI, an adjustable, rather than rely on a clear “sensitivity” slider.
I assume Logitech will update the software in the future, but it is not a good first impression, especially since the USB connections are usually a bit more reliable than a Bluetooth connection.
The Logitech MX is the Master Of 3-Review: Performance
It’s a bit difficult to measure the performance of the productivity of the rats, because the “productivity” might be a mist within. The job of a graphic designer is much different from that of an accountant, and both of them are very, very different from that of a newspaper reporter. Still, for the most part of the week, I’ve been using the MX for the Master 3. as for my day-to-mouse to navigate through Microsoft Word, Google Chrome, Slack, Thunderbird, VLC, and other programs that I use every day at work.
The mouse was very comfortable to use over an 8-hour working day, and an extra command button has come in handy, especially in Microsoft Word. While writing this review, I will regularly zoom in and out and used the thumb buttons for correcting errors in data entry. I’ve also tested the mouse in Excel, and I am very pleased to report that Logitech’s claim that you can scroll through 1000 rows in less than a second, it’s necessary.
The one thing that I don’t use it for gesture control. However, I would imagine that it would be a lot more useful if you work in graphic design, or video production where a small light, multi-directional movements, you can make a difference in the world.

While the Logitech Options, you can use a bit of spit and Polish, and the MX record in the Master 3 is often a great functional mouse, which addresses some of the issues out in the open earlier than the Logitech MX is the Master of this function. Even though $100 is too much to ask for a mouse, the Logitech MX, the Master 3 offers all that the users need for productivity, and there is nothing that I don’t, it doesn’t matter what field you are working in. If you’re not a fan of the extra features, you can achieve a comfortable, functional productivity, the mouse is between $20 – $30 range.
