Overview
The LG G6 comes at a pivotal time for LG. It made a loss last year following the disappointing sales of the LG G5 and LG V20, and its new smartphone is a bold step in the proper direction, but that doesn’t always maintain a company’s fortunes. To cut to the quest, the LG G6 is an incredible smartphone that easily retains itself against the best smartphones ever made.
The smartphones taller 18:9 screen is simple to get used to, and while many actions require two hands given the 5.7-inch display, it is comfortable to hold, use, and scroll with one hand. LG has wisely ditched the leather of the LG G4 and the cool-but-not modularity of the LG G5 to craft the best LG phone. And there have been a lot of them.
The design of the LG G6 has been improved again following the leather-clad G4 and the modular G5 to a debatably more smooth metal and glass affair. We’ve tested the LG G6 rigorously since we got it in our hands before its announcement at MWC 2016. Not to tell that it doesn’t have its shortcomings, however for LG, this is an excellent leap forward over the earlier iteration.
