Every TV Series Coming to Apple TV+ in October 2023
Apple TV+, while not as popular as Netflix or Disney+ among film and TV lovers, is an excellent streaming service that consistently provides quality content to its subscribers. While the additions are scanty, with less than ten films and TV shows released on the platform monthly, it compensates with the quality. For example, Apple TV+ released four exciting TV shows in September, including The Changeling, which, while confusing the viewers initially as to where it is heading, is setting up for an exhilarating journey in the coming episodes. So, if you’re looking for more TV shows that Apple TV+ has to offer, you’re in the right place. Here are the best TV shows releasing on Apple TV+ in October 2023.
Invasion Season 2 (Continuing)
Apple TV+ Invasion, like many other Apple TV+ series, is not your traditional sci-fi show that involves epic battles with aliens but rather a more cerebral take on the genre. Even though it starts slowly, it gradually sets up the world and characters, making you care about what happens to them. Although the second season was released on Aug. 24, it is still going strong and will continue through the end of this October. The long-awaited invasion has finally arrived on Earth, with aliens terrorizing the lives of people on the planet. The story unfolds through the lens of five different characters as they try to survive amidst the chaos that affects them more than they could have anticipated. If you’re looking for a slow-burn TV series involving aliens that focuses more on the perspectives of survivors, Invasion is the show for you.
The Morning Show Season 3 (Continuing)
Apple TV+ The Morning Show has brought a fresh start to the third season by reuniting Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston, who previously worked together on Friends as sisters, Rachel and Jill. Furthermore, Reese Witherspoon’s character Bradley has turned out to be the most fascinating addition to the third season, with her past constantly catching up and showing how flawed yet incredible she is. According to Apple TV+, the official synopsis of the drama series is as follows: “The Morning Show” explores the cutthroat world of morning news and the lives of the people who help America wake up in the morning. In season three, the future of the network is thrown into question and loyalties are pushed to the brink when a tech titan takes an interest in UBA. Unexpected alliances form, private truths are weaponized and everyone is forced to confront their core values both in and out of the newsroom.
Still Up (Continuing)
Apple TV+ Still Up is a new Apple TV+ comedy series starring Antonio Thomas and Craig Roberts. So far, three episodes have been released, with the fourth set to premiere on Sep. 29 and the finale on Oct. 27. Given the strong first impressions and the greatly appreciated humor, Still Up will certainly make a terrific addition to your watch list for this October. The series follows two insomniacs, Lisa and Danny, who struggle to sleep at night despite trying all sorts of methods, such as hypnosis and medication. Fortunately, they have each other to keep them company, and they communicate through video calls, chatting about things that worry them the most. While Lisa is concerned about her daughter’s future, Danny struggles to find someone special in his life to bring him out of loneliness. As their nightly conversations strengthen their bond as friends, with both helping each other with their respective problems, they eventually realize that, despite seeing each other as close friends, there is an undeniable chemistry between the pair that could lead to something more wonderful.
