We loved the concept of Fujifilm’s X-T100 when it came out, as a sort of bridge between the high-end professional X-series models and the more entry-level photographers, so it was great to see the release of the X-T200, which builds on that concept while fixing some of the problems with the original. Video is vastly improved on the X-T200, with 4K now at a frame rate of 30p instead of the 15p of the X-T100.
As for the sensor, while you still don’t get the X-Trans chip used on the more expensive cameras, the 24.2MP APS-C CMOS model of the X-T200 is not to be sneezed at, and extra features like 8fps burst shooting make the deal a lot more enjoyable. It’s the replacement for the beloved Fujifilm X-T20, with slightly more resolution, greatly improved autofocus and the ability to shoot up to 30 fps with the electronic shutter and 1.25 crop mode. It’s like a mini version of the X-T3, but it’s a lot smaller, a lot cheaper and doesn’t give much away in features or performance.

If the idea of the Fujifilm X100V appeals to you, but the price doesn’t appeal to you so much, the little XF10 could be the answer. It’s a much more modest camera, without the XF100’s viewfinder or the old-fashioned shutter speed and aperture controls, but the XF10 still has a 24-megapixel APS-C sensor and a very handy 28mm-equivalent f/2.8 lens.
The two really attractive features, however, are the extra-slim body – which can easily fit in a jacket pocket or even a trouser pocket – and the much lower price. It’s easy to focus (sorry!) to the somewhat slow autofocus and limited features, but where else can you get a top-quality, pocket-sized APS-C camera at a price close to this? Surprisingly, the XF10 doesn’t seem to have caught the public’s attention like other Fujifilm cameras, but we think it’s great at this price.

The GFX 100 wins for resolution, but the GFX 50R is much cheaper

Unlike virtually all other camera manufacturers, Fujifilm does not make full-frame cameras. The first was the GFX 50S, but we really appreciate the newer GFX 50R, not only because it has a neater rectangular shape, but also because it’s only three-quarters the price!
OK, the price tag seems excessive compared to regular cameras, but it’s a breakthrough for medium format cameras – and the larger sensor delivers image quality that just blows you away the first time you see it (and for quite a while after that, too). It’s big, heavy and not very fast to use, but it’s designed for a more thoughtful kind of photography. What’s even more impressive is that all the compromises Fujifilm had to make to produce the GFX 100S didn’t detract from the camera’s performance – it really is just as groundbreaking as the older GFX 100, but for not much more than half the price. A thing of beauty, the Fujifilm X-A5, has a beautiful retro design with some artistic touches, such as the 180-degree tiltable touch screen and Portrait Enhancer for selfies, as well as an advanced autofocus mode that finds the eye of the subject. As we are used to in X-series cameras, there is a 4K movie recording, but a frame rate of 15 fps somewhat paralyzes it.
The number of megapixels for photos is pretty impressive at 24.2 MP, but by the compact, lightweight design, there is no viewfinder, so you have to rely on the LCD screen to compose shots.
