Xiaomi Mi 16000 mAh Power Bank was launched by Xiaomi a few months ago and is a big power house in terms of capacity and size. It comes with a Dual USB Ports and a premium Li-ion battery cased in a sleek Aluminium body and weighs 350 grams.
The power bank is 145 mm in height, 60.4 mm in width and has 22 mm depth that makes it slimmer at waist and 60% taller when compared to Mi 10,400 mAh power bank. At such dimensions and 350 grams weight, power bank feels to be a bit heavy but since it carries 16000 mAh battery inside it, its a fair deal. A Power button, 2 USB ports, 1 Micro-USB port for charging along with the LED notification Lights are located at the bottom of the power bank.
Mi 16000 mAh features dual USB charging outputs and both the USB ports provide 2.1 Amp output current. While charging, the power bank consumes 2 Amp input current. When both the ports are used simultaneously, the maximum output provided by the power bank is 3.6 Amp. Also, the power bank adjusts its output level itself according to the device connected. Mi power bank is compatible with all smartphones and tablets from Apple, HTC, Lenovo, Samsung and also with the variety of digital cameras and gaming devices.
The company claims that its fully charged Mi 16000 mAh power bank is capable of charging its Redmi Note 4G to 3.5 times, iPhone 6 to 5 times and iPad mini to 2.5 times. As per the tests of Pc-Tablet, the power bank was able to charge HTC One M7 6.5 times and HTC M7 has 2,300 mAh battery which is quite impressive.
The power bank takes around 10- 12 hours of charging to get charged completely. Its a pretty long time but the back up of the power bank justifies the need of such long charging time.
Xiaomi Mi 16000 mAh power bank is priced at Rs 1,399 on Xiaomi India’s official website. So, the power bank is a big power house that is good enough to charge a smartphone 5-6 times. If you are looking for a power bank of such type, you must surely grab this one.
