Vivo has officially launched the Vivo Y21L 4G smartphone in India. The smartphone is said to be the successor of the Vivo Y21 smartphone that was launched in the country earlier this year. The Vivo Y21L 4G is priced at INR 7,490 (approx US $112) and is available for purchase exclusively at e-commerce portal onlymobiles.com. The smartphone comes in white color.
The Vivo Y21L 4G features a 4.5-inch FWVGA (480 x 854 pixels resolution) capacitive multi-touch display. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core MSM8916 processor, that comes with 1 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage that can be further expanded up to 128 GB via micro-SD card. The Vivo Y21L 4G runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system with Fun-touch OS 2.5 on top of it and is backed up by a 2,000 mAh battery.
The smartphone has a 5 mega-pixel rear camera with LED flash, and a 2 mega-pixel selfie camera on the front. The camera offers Normal, Face Beauty, Watermark, HDR, Panorama, Voice Capture, Palm Capture Profession and Children Mode.
On the connectivity front, the Vivo Y21L 4G offers Dual SIM (Dual Standby), 4G with VoLTE, WiFi (802.11 b), WiFi Hots-pot, micro USB port, OTG support, Accelerometer, Photosensitive sensor, Proximity sensor, and Electronic compass. The handset measures 130.7 x 66.4 x 9.2 mm and weighs around 145 grams.
Vivo recently launched the Vivo X7 and X7 Plus smartphones in June which were said to be the successor to Vivo X6 and X6 Plus. The Vivo X7 is priced at 2,498 Yuan (approx $375 / INR 25,100) while the Vivo X7 Plus costs 2,798 Yuan (approx $420 / INR 28,100). The devices are powered by the same Snapdragon 652 octa-core processor coupled with Adreno 510 GPU.
