Review: Golf Club Wasteland (PlayStation 4, Switch, Xbox One & Steam) – Defunct Games

Defunct Games is reviewing Damagog Studio’s Golf Club Wasteland, now available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch and PC. You don’t have to dress up as you are the only member at Wasteland Golf Club. Though it often feels more like a puzzle game than a sports simulator, this fun and strangely sentimental journey takes you on a nostalgic tour of post-apocalyptic earth. Golf through ruined cities, empty parks, through apartments and even on skyscrapers. The shaky gameplay takes a bit of getting used to and desperately needs a rewind button, but there is no doubt that this is one of the most unique golf games I have ever played. Golf Club Wasteland is worth buying for the incredible soundtrack alone. NOTE: Defunct Games has received a digital code from the developer / publisher of this game for verification purposes.
