Sony begins registration for Xperia X and Xperia XA in India

The Japanese Smartphone company Sony has confirmed that its new Smartphones, Xperia X and Xperia XA are coming in India as the registration for both the smartphones are now open in India.

Although, Xperia X Performance was also announced with Xperia A and Xperia XA at Mobile World Conference earlier this year, there is no information about whether the Xperia X Performance will be available in India or not. Therefore the registration are open only for Xperia X and Xperia XA in India.

As per the reports of International Business Times, Sony Xperia X performance is the top-end smartphone among the three that comes with 5.0-inch full HD display powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 CPU, 3 GB RAM, 32 GB inbuilt memory and backed with 2700 mAh battery.

On the other hand, Xperia X comes with a 5.0-inch full HD display powered by Snapdragon 650 processor with 3 GB RAM, 32/64 GB inbuilt memory that can be increased up to 200 GB by using a microSD. The device is backed by 2650 mAh battery.

Both Xperia X and X Performance comes with same 23 MP rear camera and 13 MP rear camera, both with Exmor RS Sensor.

As for the Xperia XA, it is the cheapest among the Sony X series. It comes with a 5.0-inch HD display powered by MediaTek (MT6755) processor with 2 GB RAM, 16 GB inbuilt memory with microSD card supported up to 200 GB and backed by a 2300 mAh battery. Xperia XA features a 13 MP rear camera with Exmor RS Sensor and 8 MP front camera with Exmor R Sensor.

All the three Sony X Series devices comes with Android Marshmallow 6.0 OS and supports 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-fi, Bluetooth v4.0 and GPS.

Price of the Sony X Series Smartphones are yet to be revealed, till then Interested buyers can register Xperia X here and Xperia XA here.
