Samsung Galaxy Note 6 rumors and expected specifications

Samsung’s much awaited phone of the year, the Galaxy Note 6 is just a few months away from its launch. The company has not yet revealed any details regarding the specifications or the launch date of the device. The South Korean Smartphone manufacturer Samsung is expected to release the upcoming Galaxy Note series in August.

Design and Display

As per the website GSM Helpdesk, Samsung is testing two variants of the Galaxy Note 6. First variant is said to be with a flat display and second variant is said to be with a curved screen.

The device is reportedly to feature a 5.8-inch display with 2,560 * 1,440 pixels.

Software and Hardware

The Galaxy Note 6 is expected to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 823 processor that comes with 6 GB RAM and is supported with 64 GB/128 GB in-built memory. The smartphone is backed with a 4,000 mAh battery. The device will run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow or Android N OS.

Camera

The camera on Samsung Galaxy note 6 is reported be a 12 mega-pixel main camera featured with f/1.7 aperture, 26 mm, Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and 1.4 μm pixel size. The front camera will be a 5 mega-pixel snapper with f/1.7 aperture. Samsung is likely to work on the camera quality of Galaxy Note 6.

Other Features

The device is also reported to feature microSD card slot, an IP68-waterproof certification and a USB Type-C port. The smartphone might also feature iris scanner and a foldable pen.

However, not of the information is not yet confirmed by the company. So, all the information regarding the Samsung Galaxy Note 6 are likely to be taken as rumors or assumptions.
