Earlier this year, Oppo launched A59 smartphone for CNY 1,799 (approx US $273 or INR 18,299) in June. Now, as per the recent reports, the company has been working on the successor of the Oppo A59 smartphone, the Oppo A59s. The Oppo A59s has recently been spotted on Chinese Certification agency, TENAA. The certification site revealed some of the key specifications of the smartphone along with some images.
As per the listing, the Oppo A59s will feature a 5.5-inch HD (720p) 2.5D glass display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. The smartphone will be powered by 1.5 GHz octa-core processor that comes with 4 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage that can be expanded further up to 128 GB internal storage. The smartphone will run on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS.
The smartphone will have a 13 mega-pixel rear camera with LED flash and a 16 mega-pixel front camera. The handset will be powered by a 2,980 mAh battery. Besides this, the Oppo A59s offers Dual SIM, 4G with VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a MicroUSB port. The handset measures 154.5 x 76 x 7.3 mm and weighs 160 grams. The OPPO A59s will be available in Gold and Rose Gold color options.
Just to recall, the Oppo A59 has a metal unibody and a 5.5-inch HD (720p) 2.5D curved glass display with pixel density of 267 ppi. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz octa-core processor (MediaTek MT6570), Mali-T860 GPU, 3GB RAM. The 32GB internal storage, which can be further expandable up-to 128 GB via MicroSD card. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Color OS 3.0 UI on top of it.
Oppo A59 has a 13 mega-pixel shooter with LED flash on its back and an 5 mega-pixel snapper on its front panel. The handset was backed by a 3,075 mAh battery, with flash charging support. Besides, the Oppo A59 offers Dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a MicroUSB port.
