OnePlus will be a hosting a special event in India on June 15, after the VR Loop launch for its OnePlus 3 flagship. OnePlus has announced that it will also bring three pop-up stores for the OnePlus 3 in Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore. Last year, OnePlus had also opened pop-up stores for the OnePlus 2 launch.
While the date for the pop-store has not been confirmed (still lists as coming soon on the announcement page), OnePlus says that those who come to these stores will be able to experience the new OnePlus 3 and buy it right there.
OnePlus has revealed that its next flagship will be announced at 12:30 pm EDT (9:30 am PDT, 5:30 pm BST) on June 14.
Specifications of OnePlus 3 Smartphones
The OnePlus 3 smartphone will come in four different storage variants. Two versions will come with 4 GB RAM coupled with 32 GB and 64 GB internal storage space, while there will also be a 6 GB RAM version with the same 32 GB and 64 GB internal storage space options. Previously, OnePlus had kept the storage space limited at 16 GB and 64 GB options, but it looks like this time the company is revamping its flagship by adding more storage options.
The OnePlus 3 smartphones are expected to feature a 5.5-inch full HD screen, Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor, 16 mega-pixel rear camera and 8 mega-pixel front camera plus a front fingerprint scanner along with Oxygen OS base on Android 6.0 and is backed with a 3,000 mAh battery. Other leaks have indicated that the OnePlus 3 will ditch the iconic sandstone finish body seen in the previous two version, and instead have a metal uni-body design, along with an AMOLED display.
