The Chinese Tech Giants Xiaomi recently launched the next gen Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 smartphone in the home country. The smartphone is said to be the successor of the Redmi Note 3 and will be available in two variants: one with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage, and another with 3 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage. Xiaomi is also expected to launch the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 on September 5.
Now, before the launch of smartphone, a set of new images of the Mi Note 2 has been leaked online, thus revealing the design aspects as well as specs that have already been rumored earlier. The following images confirm that the device sports a curved display, with rumors saying that there will be two editions: one with 1080p resolution and other with Q-HD (1,440 x 2,560 pixels).
Another leaked image (shown below), which looks like an official one, reveals dual rear-camera setup, and specs like 5.5-inch OLED screen, all-metal body, 6 GB RAM/128 internal memory configuration, and Snapdragon 821 chipset. Rumors also suggests that the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is likely to come in three variants of which the high-end device is expected to come with Snapdragon 821 processor and 6 GB RAM/128 GB internal storage.
All in all, we can say that Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will feature a 5.5-inch Full HD display, a fingerprint sensor, and come in three variants with the top one expected to have a 2K (Q-HD) dual curved display and a Force Touch support. It is also expected to have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor, and a 4,000 mAh battery with Quick Charging technology. The 32 GB internal storage model is expected to have a 16 mega-pixel rear camera, while the other two variants (64 GB and 128 GB) are expected to house dual 12 mega-pixel rear cameras.
The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 launch date is expected to be September 5. Pricing will vary, of course, with the lower end, 4 GB model costing 2499 Yuan (US $375 or INR 25,000), the 6 GB RAM and 64 GB storage option costing 2799 Yuan ($405 or INR 28,000), and finally, the higher end 6 GB RAM with 128 GB storage costing 2,999 Yuan ($450 or INR 30,000).
