Ulefone says that it wanted to give its consumers, and potential consumers, a chance to see the entire assembly process of the device. The company did that in the past as well, for some of its previous devices.

This handset supports wireless charging & 5G

The Ulefone Armor 12 5G is a compelling rugged smartphone. The device does look nice for a rugged phone, and it’s lighter than most other rugged devices, despite the fact it has a huge battery.

The phone includes a 5,180mAh battery, and it actually offers 15W wireless charging for that battery. It also supports 18W wired charging via a Type-C USB port.

A 6.52-inch display is included on the phone as well, as is a waterdrop display notch. The MediaTek Dimensity 700 fuels the device, and it enables it to connect to 5G networks.

The phone is also equipped with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. A 48-megapixel main camera is included on the back, and backed by three additional cameras, plus a front-facing one.

Android 11 comes out of the box, while the phone has dual HiFi speakers, which are rear-facing. You can also listen to the FM radio on this phone, without the need to hook up a headset to it. The first batch of Ulefone Armor 12 5G units will ship out on September 15, said the company, for those of you who pre-ordered the phone.
