News Summary:
It will take a long time before the studio is prepared to reveal those plans if it changes its mind and must start any DLC from scratch. Therefore, Hogwarts Legacy expansions are either never going to happen or are going to be a very distant possibility.
Avalanche Software, the company behind the wizarding simulator Hogwarts Legacy, has confirmed that no post-release DLC (downloadable content) is currently planned for the game. Game director Alan Tew told IGN that there are currently no plans for DLC because the team has been so preoccupied with finishing the base game. Although there won’t be any significant expansions, the open world game will undoubtedly receive patches and bug fixes (one update is already available).
