News Summary:
The Galaxy S23 Ultra has an “excellent” rating. It outperforms all other Android and iOS devices including Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S22 Ultra, Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, Google Pixel 6 Pro, Asus Zenfone 8, iPhone 13 Pro Max and iPhone 14 Pro Max.
VCX Forum, an independent nonprofit that reviews camera phones, gave the Galaxy S23 Ultra the highest rating. The phone’s camera system received a score of 69 out of 100, which may not seem like much but according to the VCX Forum’s scoring system, 69 is enough to rank above all other smartphones tested.
These results are very different from the results of DxOMark in the Galaxy S23 Ultra camera review. While Samsung’s flagship ranks 10th in the DxOMark system, the VCX Forum places the S23 Ultra at the top of the list of camera phones, giving it a perfect 10 in many areas.
The Galaxy S23 Ultra is capable of recording 8K video at 30fps, as well as 4K video at 60fps and 1080p up to 960fps for super slow motion.
Samsung’s Galaxy S23 Ultra is the company’s first phone with a high-resolution 200MP main sensor, the ISOCELL HP2. It is accompanied by a 10MP periscope camera with 10x optical zoom, another 10MP telephoto camera with 3x zoom, and a 12MP ultra-wide sensor.
Samsung is selling its latest premium flagship phone for $1,199. However, you can buy the Galaxy S23 Ultra at a lower price if you exchange your old phone. The company is set to cut the retail price by up to $750.
