Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection is here for your first look

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection is here for your first look

Tech Highlights:

  • What’s nice is that it looks like each game comes with its own custom border with key artwork, though it’s possible this could be an addition specifically for the YouTube video – here’s hoping not! Regardless, the games themselves look like solid ports of the originals, with authentic visuals and audio throughout.

  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection’s future gameplay has received its first official peek from Konami. The lengthy video, which features gameplay from several of the collection’s games, was produced by PlayStation Underground (so there isn’t any Switch gameplay here).

At the time of writing, there’s yet to be any news on a solid release date for the Cowabunga Collection, but it’s earmarked for sometime later this year. We’ll be sure to update you once we know more. In the meantime, you can always check out Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge from developer Tribute Games; we thought the game was spectacular in our review, calling it “the best Turtles beat ’em up ever made”.
