Tech News: OnePlus 6/6T update fixes one of the most annoying Android 10 issues

OnePlus struggled to release the Android 10 update for its older OnePlus 6 and 6T flagships, and even after the update was released recently, there are still issues that need to be addressed. The Chinese company released the promised Android 10 update three or four times before it was good earlier this month. Well, let’s say it’s almost okay, because the Android 10 update has added a number of problems, some of which are very annoying for anyone who owns the OnePlus 6 and 6T. One of them displayed the screen while he was trying to unlock his smartphone.

Fortunately, OnePlus was able to discover the cause of the oscillating screen problem and, at the latest, remedy this update from OxygenOS 10.3.2 for OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T. In addition to the solution, the update also includes the February security patch and some other improvements.

  • Screen flickering issue resolved during swipe to unlock
  • Improved system stability and general bugs resolved
  • Android security patch updated to 2020.02

As always, OTA (over the air) will be implemented in phases with a limited number of users first, followed by a broader implementation in just a few days.
