The music streaming platform Spotify has launched an interactive web page called ‘Your workout soundtrack’ that allows listeners to define their training and create a playlist based on their preferences. According to The Verge, playlists can be a mix of podcasts and music and can last up to two hours. Listeners can also choose to block explicit content.
To create personalized playlists, listeners must choose from eight different exercises (including yoga, weightlifting, cardio and walking) and let Spotify know who they are training with (either themselves or with a friend during a video call). The user can select the genre of music and podcast he wants to hear, selecting the “mood” of his training, meaning “motivation” or calm and meditative music.
The main purpose of the new feature is to record podcasts and songs based on the change in the training regime. (ANI)
