Housemarque’s PSP classic Super Stardust Portable has additional trophies on PlayStation Plus. This makes it the first classic PS Plus game with trophies added after the fact. The game was first released in 2007, before the PlayStation Trophy came along. It’s one of his first classics available on his PS Plus at launch last year, and the first PSP game to be added. But at the time, Sony said adding trophy support to classic games was “an option for developers,” and games like Ape Escape, Hot Shots Golf, IQ Intelligent Qube, and Siphon Filter launched with trophies in the service.
Housemarque became known for his arcade shooter games and released many games in this genre. The latest release was his PlayStation 5 exclusive return coming to PC next month.
