Samsung India opened the pre-booking for the flagship Galaxy Note 9, available in variants of 128 GB and 512 GB for Rs 67,900 and Rs 84,900, respectively. The new Samsung smartphone should be launched in India before August 24.
Potential buyers who pre-book the device will have the chance to own a Samsung Gear Sports smartwatch for Rs 4,999, which originally costs Rs 22,990, the company statement said, adding that all variants of the device will be available in retail and online stores.
The South Korean giant also announced that the smartphone will be available globally from August 24 and for the Indian market will be manufactured in the company’s largest furniture factory in Noida.

The Note 9 6.4 inch comes in four colors and two variants – 6GB of RAM and 128GB of built-in memory (expandable up to 512GB) and 8GB of RAM with 512GB of ROM expandable up to 1TB with an additional 512GB microSD card.
The device runs Android 8.1 Oreo OS, the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset for US customers, and models equipped with Samsung’s “Exynos 9 Series 9810” chips go to the rest of the world, including India.
The new smartphone features dual 12MP + 12MP dual-camera dual-image stabilization (OIS) system at the rear – with twice as powerful optical zoom and up to 10x powerful digital zoom – and an 8MP front-facing shutter.
Note 9: With the Quad HD + Super AMOLED screen, the 4000mAh battery is 21% larger than Note 8. The battery is supposedly combined with fast charging technology compatible with wired and wireless charging.
