Rogue Mage is the Witcher prequel card game. Rogue Mage will be branded as a single expansion of Gwent, but it will still retain the core mechanics of the card game to keep users immersed in the experience. Rogue Mage is set in a roguelike format in which the users will use the iconic Witcher world characters like Yennefer, Zoltan, and Dandelion and players will use cards from the multiplayer version of Gwent.
The game will be accessible on PC, Android, and iOS devices. Sagar Rangaraju’s picture Sagar Rangaraju July 7, 2022 Accessed: July 7, 2022 two minutes to read CD Projekt Red’s Gwent Rogue Mage image. Previously known as Project Golden Nekker, Gwent: Rogue Mage will now be referred to as a Gwent expansion. Today marks the official release of The Witcher for the PC, Android, and iOS platforms. The single-player game will continue to be sold separately.
Although the interconnection seems to make everything complicated, the cards in Rogue Mage are presented in Simpler packages that are not as confusing as the multiplayer version of Gwent when playing for the first time. To make things more simple and less confusing, players will begin with 12 cards in their deck to make players understand the main theme easily. There are four decks in total and players have the freedom to choose between three cards to build around in each deck. Players can add more cards over time. Over the course of the game players earn experience and level up which increases the pool of cards available for them.
