The Oppo Reno 4 series may not be far from launching in India. There is ample evidence that Oppo is cultivating the Reno 4 series for global markets, including India. And while the company is preparing to launch Reno 4 smartphones outside of China, it is probably also paving the way for the worldwide launch of Oppo Watch. Oppo Watch can be introduced in India and other international markets, in addition to the Reno 4 and Reno 4 Pro smartphones, according to new certifications. Oppo Watch launched in China in March, sparking a wave of feedback that pointed to the smartwatch’s strange resemblance to the Apple Watch.
In India, Oppo may plan to enter the smart watch market with Oppo Watch in the coming days, especially when it announces the Reno 4 and Reno 4 Pro, if a new report is accredited. According to MySmartPrice, citing industry sources, Oppo Watch may be launched in the third week of July, which is also when the Reno 4 series is launched. There is no concrete timetable for the launch, but it will probably occur within this month. Oppo has been planning the world premiere of Oppo Watch for some time. He had previously said that he will bring his first high-risk smartwatch in India after its launch in China. Since its launch in March, Oppo Watch has been impressive among certification sites. It was recently certified on the BIS website, suggesting an upcoming launch in India. Meanwhile, the Oppo Watch list on the FCC would mean that the smartwatch could also come to the U.S.
There are two models of the Oppo Watch, and the report does not indicate whether one or both variants will be launched in India. The Oppo Watch comes in a 46 mm model and a 41 mm model with some differences in its specifications.
With Oppo Watch, the company is entering the smart watch market in India, which recently saw its derivative company, Realme, enter with Realme Watch. The Oppo Watch features a 1.91-inch AMOLED screen on a square dial, which looks larger than the Apple Watch. Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2500 processor, a two-year processor, it’s a strange choice for a smartwatch that competes with some of the industry’s heavyweights. It has 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal storage and runs ColorOS which is considered a version of ColorOS that has been modified and optimized for smartwatches.
With eSIM support and an ECG sensor, Oppo Watch takes over the Apple Watch and Samsung Galaxy Watch. There are other functions in the smartwatch, such as monitoring the blood oxygen level, wireless charging and water resistance up to 5ATM. The Oppo Watch also has a 430mAh battery.
