On July 31, Xbox Game Pass loses five games

Tech Highlights:

  • This means that 6 new games will join Xbox Game Pass by July 29, as one was previously announced, so it wouldn’t be too big of a surprise if an unannounced game or two joined. Either way, fans can expect As Dusk Falls, Watch Dogs 2, Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion, MotoGP22, Torment: Tides of Numenera, and Inside by the end of the month. Just a couple of days after the last addition, fans will be saying goodbye to titles.

  • Every month on the 15th and last day, Xbox Game Pass removes a selection of titles; the service has officially revealed which titles will be gone on July 31. Even though games are deleted from Xbox Game Pass every month, additions frequently outnumber removals. Fans normally receive a week or two’s notice before these are removed, which usually occurs on the 15th and final day of the month. Five new games will now be added to Xbox Game Pass this month, while five games will be removed on July 31.

The Xbox Game Pass titles leaving are Dodgeball Academia, Katamari Damacy Reroll, Lumines Remastered, Omno, and Raji: An Ancient Epic, all exiting Cloud, Console, and PC. As always, anyone who wishes to add these to their Xbox libraries permanently can score a Game Pass membership discount up to 20%. However, for those wanting to beat them before they leave, that’s a viable option. None of these games are particularly long.

It’ll be interesting to see what comes and goes from Xbox Game Pass once August 2022 rolls around. Turbo Golf Racing, Two Point Campus, Midnight Flight Express, and Immortality are all already confirmed for Xbox Game Pass next month, and more are certainly going to be announced relatively soon.

Players don’t really have to pick and choose, which is typically when picking what games to play before they leave, but none of these are hefty time investments. Here’s how long fans can expect each game leaving Xbox Game Pass takes to beat. In other words, if players wanted to play each of these games before August 2022 rolls around, they should easily be able to. Of course, it would depend on someone’s interests, as well as what other titles someone is playing, but all of these are possible before July 31.
