NSO adds three new games to its library

Valve Steam Deck, Intel Alder Lake Rumors and DirectStorage on Windows 10 on The Full Nerd ep. 184

Points Highlighted:

  • Nintendo Switch Online has certainly had more exciting updates than this July 28 update for Claymates, Jelly Boy, and Bombuzal on SNES, even though the highlight of the last update was not much better with Joe & Mac. The update for Nintendo Switch Online in Japan looks more interesting for sure though, delivering Super Famicom entries Shin Megami Tensei: if…, Dead Dance (Tuff E Nuff), and Bombuzal. Suffice to say, Shin Megami Tensei: if… would have been more riveting than Jelly Boy. Alas.

  • Claymates, not to be confused with ClayFighter from the same publisher, casts you as Clayton, the son of Professor Putty who created a serum to turn living creatures into clay. You will use that tech to transform into five different animals to run, jump, fly, swim, and climb past obstacles in sidescrolling levels (for some reason). Meanwhile, Jelly Boy is a platformer where the titular character must escape a candy factory by collecting puzzle pieces and avoiding enemies. Jelly Boy, like Clayton, coincidentally has shape-shifting powers. And lastly, Bombuzal has you strategically navigating levels to detonate every bomb without dooming yourself in the process. (Honestly, that sounds pretty fun.)
