Next week PlayStation Plus members will no longer receive 9 free games

News Summary:

  • For those of you who haven’t yet seen the list of games releasing on March 21st, here are: Danger Zone, Dungeons 2, Ghost of a Tale, Monster Energy Supercross – The Official Videogame 5, Override 2: Super Mech League, The Vanishing by Ethan Carter, Velocibox, Victor Vran Overkill Edition, and WWE 2K22. We don’t know if any of these games will return in the future. It could be, but not in the sense that there are no rules regarding whether a game can leave the PS Plus Extra or PS Plus Premium library. However, it is not common for that to happen. In any case, the popularity, or rather lack of popularity, of the games mentioned above probably isn’t enough to justify a return, at least in the foreseeable future. I’m here. In the meantime, the rest of the game features niche releases in niche genres and/or smaller independent releases.

  • PlayStation Plus subscribers will lose access to nine free games next week, March 21st. If you’re a PS Plus Essential subscriber, i.e. a subscriber to the Basic and Standard tiers of PS Plus, these 9 games are not relevant to your business because they’re behind PS Plus Extra so you couldn’t access them at all. Your PS Plus Premium subscription has been blocked. If you’re a PS Plus Extra or PS Plus Premium subscriber, games will worry you, but fortunately, at least by and large, none are particularly generous. It could be one, but in general most subscribers aren’t all that excited about these games releasing on March 21st.
