Apps for benchmark scoring do have uses outside giving certain smartphone owners something to brag about. They can assist manufacturers in determining if software updates will improve or worsen the performance of a handset. Smartphone manufacturers can utilise benchmark apps to assess how their devices compare to the competitors. A smartphone enthusiast will attempt to use his Daily Driver benchmark score to argue that his current phone is superior to yours, as we hinted at in the sentence before this one. In comparison to the iPhone 13 Pro Max, the average AnTuTu score for the Pixel 6 Pro is 717,000 as opposed to 848,000. Now, if you had to judge a phone only on its performance, you’d have to argue that the iPhone 13 Pro Max is superior to the Pixel 6.
