The option to extract text from images is now available in WhatsApp for iOS 23.5.77, previously reserved for beta testers. To try this feature, open an image filled with text. Then look for the new button that appears. Click this button to copy the text directly from the image. For added privacy, One Shot Photos is not compatible with this feature and is only for iOS 16.

A recent update to WhatsApp’s iOS app includes the addition of picture-in-picture video calling. Additionally, according to WABetaInfo, the Meta-owned company is working on two new features for his iOS and Android apps that will be released in the future.
By limiting voting to one option, WhatsApp makes it easy for everyone in the chat to collect the results. Thanks to a toggle added to the poll composer in this release, users can now limit their poll responses to only one option. Check out the screenshot above to see what it looks like. This helps avoid ambiguity and confusion and pinpoint the most popular options.
With the latest version, iOS users now have access to new text recognition features. However, it is not yet known when this feature will be available to Android users. WhatsApp is also testing a new text editor. Another feature currently being tested is Expired Groups for iOS users.
They are currently in development and will be introduced in a future update of the app, but at this time it is unknown if the survey will be limited to only his one choice.
