Lenovo will launch Moto Z series smartphone in India next month, Moto Z and Moto Z Play unlocked version now available for pre-orders in US
Lenovo Owned firm Motorola launched its much popular Moto Z smartphone series in June, earlier this year. Under this series, company launched Moto Z, Moto Z Force smartphones. Recently, company also unveiled the sibling, the Moto Z Play smartphone at IFA 2016. Now, as per the recent reports, Lenovo will bring the much-awaited modular smartphone Moto Z to the Indian market this festive season i.e October.
Sudhin Mathur, Executive Director Mobile Business Group of Lenovo India said,” We will launch eight new devices, of which six we have already announced, in this festive season. This includes the Moto Z.” Moto Z smartphone is currently available in US for $624 upfront or $26 per month for 24 months. The unlocked version of smartphone is available for US $699.99 on Amazon exclusive. It comes in black or white and packs 32 GB of expandable storage. The device also features a 5.5-inch Quad HD display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4, a 2600 mAh battery, a Snapdragon 820 chip, a 13 mega-pixel rear camera, a 5 mega-pixel front-facing shooter and 4 GB RAM.

The Moto Z Force Droid is priced for $720 upfront or $30 per month. The display of Moto Z Force Droid is a 5.5-inch Quad HD Display with Shatter-Shield display protection, 21 mega-pixel snapper on the back and a bigger 3,500 mAh battery. The rest of the features such as display size, resolution, mobile OS, RAM, storage and front camera remain the same.
Meanwhile, the Moto Z Play smartphone unlocked version is currently available for pre-orders in US through Amazon exclusive and will be priced at US $450. The Moto Z Play features a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080p) Super AMOLED display and is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor that comes with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB (expandable) internal storage. The device features 16 mega-pixel rear camera and 5 mega-pixel front facing camera.

The rear camera also features hybrid auto-focus and support for up to 4K resolution video recording. Also, both the cameras have their own flash. The smartphone is backed with 3,510 mAh battery that can give you up to 50 hours of back-up as claimed by the company. In addition to the Moto Z smartphone, the company is also expected to launch the modular accessory series — the MotoMods, which include speakers, projector, battery pack-cum-cover, camera lens, style covers and others.
