LeEco at its 2Future event in New Delhi on Wednesday launched its second generation of smartphones, the Le 2 and the Le Max 2. The Le 2 has been priced at Rs. 11,999, while the Le Max 2 has been priced at Rs. 22,999 for the 4 GB RAM/ 32 GB inbuilt storage variant, and Rs. 29,999 for the 6 GB RAM/ 64 GB inbuilt storage variant.

While both the devices eUI 5.6 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, neither have a 3.5 mm headphone jack. For this, company has also announced a Type-C CDLA (Continuous Digital Lossless Audio) earphones that are sold by the company for Rs 1,990 on LeMall to listen to music. Alternatively, you could spend money on Bluetooth headphone for the same purpose. LeEco is also throwing in a 1 year of LeEco membership worth Rs 4,900 with the two smartphones.
The LeEco Le Max 2 will be available via Flipkart and LeMall.com in its first flash sale on June 28. Registrations will begin on June 20. As for the LeEco Le 2, the company says it will announce availability soon.
Specifications of LeEco Le Max 2
LeEco Le Max 2 features a 5.7-inch quad-HD bezel-less Super-Retina display, powered by 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor clocked at 2.15 GHz. The GPU in Le Max 2 is expected to be Adreno 530. The device will come with 4/6 GB RAM with 32/64 GB in-built memory. Le Max 2 also features Sense ID 3D fingerprint technology, which recognizes fingerprints despite moisture or grease on the finger.

The camera specifications of LeEco Le Max 2 features a 21 mega-pixel rear camera and an 8 mega-pixel front camera. The device will be backed with 3,100 mAh non-removable battery that feature Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 technology that provides 3.5 hours of battery life for 5 minutes of charging.

The smartphone features a 5.5-inch bezel-less HD display which is powered by a octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 SoC processor that comes with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB in-built memory. The device also features a Finger Print Sensor on the back of the body.
