After acquiring a 28.9 percent stake in Coolpad, both LeEco and Coolpad have announced their first joint handset under the new Cool series. LeEco and Coolpad have together announced the Cool 1 Dual smartphone starting at CNY 1,099 (approx US $165 or INR 11,100). The smartphone is now available for pre-order on the Coolpad website, LeMall and Jd.com, and will go on sale on August 24.
The LeEco Cool 1 Dual smartphone is launched in three memory and storage variants. The 3 GB RAM/32 GB storage variant is priced at CNY 1,099 (approx INR 11,100 or US $165), the 4 GB/32 GB storage variant is priced at CNY 1,499 (approx INR 15,100 or $225) and the 4 GB RAM/64 GB storage variant is priced at CNY 1,699 (approx INR 17,100 or $255).

Specifications of LeEco Cool 1 Dual
The Cool 1 Dual features a 5.5-inch Full-HD (1920 x 1080 pixels resolution) IPS in-cell display which is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 octa-core processor (quad-core 1.8 GHz Cortex-A72 + quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A53) paired with Adreno 510 GPU. The smartphone supports dual-SIM (Nano + Nano) and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with EUI 5.6 on top of it.
The biggest highlight of the smartphone is the two 13 mega-pixel cameras at the back with f/2.0 aperture. The camera features PDAF (phase detection auto-focus), 4K video recording, 720p slo-mo and dual-tone LED flash. There is also an 8 mega-pixel front camera with f/2.2 aperture and an 80-degree wide-viewing angle lens. The Cool 1 Dual also comes with the fingerprint sensor at the back, which is below the rear camera lens. The smartphone’s fingerprint sensor is said to have a reaction time of just 0.15 seconds and can also capture images.

The Cool 1 Dual smartphones is backed with a massive 4,060 mAh battery with fast charging support. The dimensions measure at 152 x 74.8 x 8.2 mm, and weighs 167 grams. Connectivity options include 4G with VoLTE, Wi-Fi 8802.1111 ac/a/b/g/n (2.4/5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, and USB Type C port. It is available in Gold, Silver and Rose Gold color variants.
