  • Aussie cricketer and Survivor star Lee Carseldine has shown he’s the wrong person to mess with after chasing down two alleged thieves who ran away with his son’s laptop. Carseldine has been caught on camera in an impressive effort chasing down two young men who allegedly attempted to steal the computer after seeing it advertised on Facebook Marketplace.

Carseldine told how instinct took over when he ran after the boys wearing his thongs. “I saw it as a bit of competition. They got a head start, they got about 30 metres and I was tracking them down pretty quickly and about halfway through my hammy went,” he said. Lee Carseldine chased down the youths from his front yard. “I was hobbling on one leg and I sort of gave them an ultimatum and I said ‘Guys, you better drop that otherwise there are going to be some major issues’.”

“I must have scared them off as they threw the laptop on the grass so it didn’t get damaged, which was nice of them.” Carseldine was seen on his security footage hobbling back to his home with the laptop and a broken thong. He told Koch and Barr how he was now nursing a hamstring injury but the laptop was working fine. “I’m pretty sore this morning, guys,” he said.
