Apple’s 2016 iPhone, better known as iPhone 7, will have the same overall design introduced by the iPhone 6 in 2014. The handset will receive various upgrades under the hood and certain new design choices that will foreshadow the massive radical iPhone redesign coming next year.
One of the things Apple is supposedly doing differently in iPhone 7 is the camera specifications which are likely to receive a number of intriguing upgrades. A new leak from right inside Foxconn (one of the main companies that builds iPhones for Apple), shows the purported camera modules from at least one of the upcoming 2016 iPhone model.
As per the reports of BGR, the leak is posted by @the_malignant on twitter that shows a foot tray featuring the the Foxconn’s logo that proves that the source is from with in the company. And the second image shows the tray of camera modules of upcoming iPhone devices.

Most rumors have shown that the 4.7-inch iPhone 7 is expected to feature a bigger camera than its predecessors, and the 5.5-inch iPhone 7 Plus is supposed to sport a dual lens rear camera. Also, the new iPhones are expected to ditch the 3.5 mm headset jack. The removal of the jack will apparently make it easier for Apple to make its 2016 devices water resistant, and also thinner (possibly by 1 mm compared to the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus). They will keep the 4.7″ and 5.5″ screen sizes from previous models.
Also, the Apple’s space gray color option for iPhone could return to a darker shade, closer to black with the upcoming “iPhone 7,” according to a new report. The color is said to be “Space Black”. As per the recent reports of AppleInsider, Apple is expected to offer the “iPhone 7” in a “much darker color” than the current space gray option found on the iPhone 6s series. This darker shade of iPhone will be close to black, though not quite black.
Apple is expected to launch iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus in September alongside the release of iOS 10.
