In some markets, the Galaxy A34 and A54 may be significantly cheaper

News Summary:

  • Assuming the price rumors are correct, the Galaxy A34 with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage will cost Rp 4,999,000 ($323) in Indonesia. The same device but with 256GB of storage can cost customers Rp 5,499,000 ($355).

  • The alleged European prices of the upcoming Galaxy A34 and Galaxy A54 suggest that the 2023 models could be more expensive than their predecessors. However, according to a new rumor from Indonesia, Samsung may release two of its new mid-range phones at a much lower price point.

As for the more powerful Galaxy A54 5G, the price for Indonesia is also lower than the supposed price in Europe. The Galaxy A54 5G with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage is said to be priced at Rp 5,999,000 ($388), while the 256GB variant could be priced at Rp 6,499,000 ($420).

If all these rumors are true, Samsung will release the Galaxy A34 and Galaxy A54 with prices that vary considerably by region. The Korean giant may launch the next two Galaxy A phones next week, March 16. A leaked slide for the Galaxy A54 says the phone will have a “professional camera”, which means excellent low-light performance.

For comparison, the Galaxy A34 5G in Europe can start at €399, while the Galaxy A54 5G can start at around €499 for the base model or €549 for the 256GB variant. May be higher than usual – about 15%.

Official wallpapers of the Galaxy A34 and Galaxy A54 have been leaked online and are available for download. The A34 is expected to come in the same black, lavender, lime green, and silver gradient colors as Samsung’s old Aura Glow for the Galaxy Note 10, except it’s not as glossy.

The Galaxy A54 is expected to come in Black, Lavender Purple, Lemon Green, and White colors. The cheaper A34 is expected to have a MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC, while the Galaxy A54 is expected to be powered by the Exynos 1380 SoC.
