After launching two new smartphones this year, the Huawei Nova and the Huawei Nova Plus at IFA 2016, Berlin, the Chinese firm Huawei is all set to launch its another flagship smartphone, the Huawei Mate 9. And as per the recent reports, new rumors are claiming that the company will announce the smartphone on November 8 in China. reports also suggests that the smartphone will be powered by company’s latest Kirin 960 chipset, dual 20 mega-pixel cameras and the smartphone will come in four different variants.
As per the leaks, 4 GB RAM + 64 GB ROM variant will carry a price tag of CNY 3,199 (US $475 or INR 31,900) or CNY 3,399 ($505 or INR 33,900), depending on whether it’s a Carrier Edition or a phone which supports all Chinese networks. Then there will be a 4 GB/128 GB model that will cost CNY 3,899 ($580 or INR 38,900). And finally, the top model with 6 GB RAM and 256 GB storage will set you back CNY 4,699 ($700 or INR 46,900).

As for the fourth variant, it will be bundled with the Huawei Watch, and that variant of the Mate 9 will also ship with 6 GB RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. Considering that a Huawei Watch will be a part of this offering, Huawei will, allegedly, ask you to pay CNY 7,388 (US $1107 or INR 74,100). The Huawei Mate 9 is rumored to become available in 9 color variants, Amber Gold, Amber Gray, Ceramic White, Champagne Gold, Enamel Gloss Black, Mocha Gold, Moonlight Silver, Rose Gold and Sky Gray.
As reported earlier, a promo image of the upcoming Huawei Mate 9 was leaked that confirmed a Kirin 960 chipset and dual 20 mega-pixel cameras. The chipset is said to be made using the 16nm process, and the octa-core CPU will feature Cortex-A73 cores. And the dual 20 mega-pixel rear-facing cameras will include OIS (optical image stabilization) and feature Color and Black and White mode.

Also, the Mate 9’s cameras will be supplied by Leica, well, camera lenses will, just like they were for the Huawei P9 and P9 Plus earlier this year. The Huawei Mate 9 is expected to features a 5.7-inch/ 6-inch full-HD (1080p) or Quad-HD (1440p) display. The smartphone is said to run on Huawei’s Emotion UI (EMUI) 5 based on Android 7.0 Nougat OS.
