HTC One A9s reported to be launch tomorrow: Features and Specifications

The Taiwanese Tech Giants HTC is likely to launch the One A9s smartphone tomorrow (Thursday). The smartphone is said to be the successor of the HTC One A9 smartphone that was launched last year. The phone that had a design similar to the Apple iPhone 6 – right from the antenna lines to the camera placement. Earlier, it was reported that the phone might launch at IFA 2016, the annual consumer electronics show in Berlin. But it seems that company has decided to launch it before the event.

The device will be similar to HTC One A9 and follow Apple’s naming scheme of ‘tock’ iPhones. The smartphone will feature metal uni-body design and redesigned placement of hardware elements like camera, flash, and sensors. The whole enclosure, however, is reported to be similar to the last year’s One A9. The HTC branding has been removed from the front of the phone and from the leaked images it looks like the smartphone will come in Black, Gold, and bluish-silver color variants.

There have not been many leaks regarding the phone’s specifications but it is believed to come with a 13-megapixel rear camera, and a 5-megapixel front camera, just like HTC One A9. The HTC One A9s is expected to be launched by the company on September 1. Even though the leaked information looks solid, we will have to wait for the company to make an official announcement.

Just to recall, HTC One A9 featured a 5-inch full-HD (1080p) display and was powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor coupled, Adreno 405 GPU, 3 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage. HTC One A9 sports a 13 mega-pixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and optical image stabilization. The smartphone front camera was an ultra pixel image sensor first introduced with HTC One M8. The smartphone also had a front facing fingerprint scanner.
