This is what is reported by Jez Corden on The Xbox Two podcast, hosted by Corden and Rand at Thor. It also seems that this estimate does not include Bethesda games, considering that it is limited to the publishing section of Xbox Game Studios, with the roadmap prior to the definitive acquisition of Bethesda.
Only roughly a third of the projects under development at Microsoft’s first party teams have been revealed so far, according to an estimate judged “prudent” by writer Jez Corden, or conservative, to put it another way, rounded down.
The Windows Central reporter also reported that, in the coming weeks, he will publish an article about Avowed and the information it has managed to gather about the new RPG under development at Obsidian through its sources.
These could be some of the games unannounced, as also collected on Reddit based on the rumors that have emerged so far: two titles from Mojang, according to reports from Corden again, a new Obsidian game from Josh Sawyer, Gears 6 and a new game from The Coalition , new IPs from Double Fine and Compulsion, Project Cobalt from inXile, Project Indus from Oxide, Project Dragon from IO Interactive, a possible MMO mentioned by Jeff Grubb and various others.
obviously we can’t take this as official news, being just a rumor, but it must be said that Corden has shown to have convincing connections in the Microsoft and surrounding area.
On the front Bethesda then there are the new games from id Software (perhaps a Quake reboot), the possible Wolfenstein from Machine Games, the new project in development at Tango Gameworks and perhaps a project in collaboration with Tencent, in addition to the games already announced.
