Google cuts prices on Pixel Slate for limited time

Soon, Pixel Slate will be a collector’s item. Google announced last year that it is leaving the game for tablets, making the current crop of Pixel Slate tablets the company’s last. There are three models in the Pixel Slate line, and Google has reduced the price at the top and bottom. The base model is now $ 499. The intermediate model was sold briefly for $ 599, but returned to the usual $ 999, meaning it is more expensive than the top-of-the-line model, which costs only $ 899.

These are significant discounts. The original prices were $ 799, $ 999 and $ 1,599, respectively. In addition to the discounted prices, Google makes the deal more enjoyable by inserting a pen and keyboard with a purchase of the Pixel Slate. Our biggest complaint about the Pixel Slate was the premium price and the fact that it didn’t include a keyboard or pen. However, with the currently reduced prices and free pen and keyboard, the Pixel Slate becomes more attractive.

The tablet is solidly constructed and features a 12.3-inch touchscreen with a super fine resolution of 3,000 × 2,000 pixels. And now it includes a Midnight Blue Pixelbook pen (worth $ 99) and your choice of Pixel Slate keyboard (worth $ 199) or Brydge G-Type Keyboard (worth $ 160).
