The March 2020 security update has now been officially released on Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10 Plus devices. According to SamMobile, it lands on devices in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Spain and Hungary. There doesn’t seem to be anything particularly interesting in this update, but enhanced security is always welcome. Unfortunately, the latest Android security patch broke some things on some Google Pixel devices. I hope that Samsung’s Note 10 handsets have no problems with the update.
If you are in one of these markets, you can expect OTA to land on your device in the next few days. You can manually check the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 update on your own device by going to Settings> Software update> Download and install.

The Galaxy Note 10 line was launched in August 2019 with the latest version of Android, Android 9 Pie. Like most Android flagships, they should receive at least two major updates in their lives. The first major confirmed update is Android 10, which was released publicly in early September. Shortly thereafter, Samsung started a beta program for its flagships, including the Note 10 line. This beta program took a few months for Samsung to start releasing Android 10 steadily.
At this time, almost all devices in the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 family, including the Star Wars model and the Sprint version, should have the Android 10 update. All stragglers should have it by the end of January 2020. This update will include One UI 2.0, based on Android 10. Samsung also beat Google with the January 2020 safety box and launched it on Note 10 before Google launched on Pixel 4. Samsung’s update game is up and running recently and Note 10 is the sixth device to obtain the latest security patch.
