News: Foxconn says may make EVs in Wisconsin or Mexico.

TAIPEI (Reuters) – The chairman of leading Apple Inc supplier Foxconn said Tuesday that its Wisconsin facility has potential site Building electric vehicles, however, added that Mexico could do another site.

When asked by reporters in Taipei whether the company would produce a car with Apple, chairman Liu Young-way said it was speculation.

Foxconn, based in Taiwan, officially called Hon Hai Precision Industry Co Ltd, is the world’s largest manufacturer of contract electronics.
