Embr, a multiplayer firefighting game, is now available on Xbox Game Pass

Tech Highlights:

  • In addition to launching on Xbox Game Pass, Embr now has a new multiplayer game mode for players to try on all platforms called Secret Hosr. During each Secret Hosr mission, one player will become the “Hosr Agent” who has the goal of secretly sabotaging the team’s efforts. That is, they’ll need to sabotage the group without letting anyone else know they’re the Hosr Agent. Once a player thinks they know who the Hosr Agent is, they can use the game’s report tool to vote them out. However, they’ll only be able to use the report tool once.

  • On all platforms, the game also contains a new mode. Embr is now available on Xbox Game Pass, providing Xbox Game Pass customers unlimited access to the frantic firefighting game. Embr allows up to four players to take on the role of rookie firefighters and fight fires and save civilians (and their stuff) from disasters. The game is quirky and light-hearted, rather than realistic and “aggressive” (for instance, you may need to save a person who is fully clothed but sitting on a toilet). In our First Look, you can learn more about Embr and see some gameplay.

The Secret Hosr mode is available on all platforms for free, but you’ll need to own the full game of Embr to access it. Embr is available for $19.99 on Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Game Pass, and PC. The game is rated E10+ for Everyone 10+ by the ESRB.
