(Reuters) – The S&P 500 and Dow opened subdued Tuesday as investors marginalized ahead of the Federal Reserve’s two-day political meeting amid rising borrowing costs.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 13.3 points, or 0.04%, to 32,966.75 at the Open. The S&P 500 rose 4.7 points, or 0.12%, to 3973.59 on the Open, while the Nasdaq Composite rose 63.5 points, or 0.47%, to 13523.173 on the opening bell.
