News: Dollar General forecasts full-year same-store sales below estimates.
(Reuters) – Dollar General Corp on Thursday forecast annual sales in the same store below estimates, suggesting the introduction of vaccines and a reopening of the economy would result in an unexpectedly sharp slowdown due to a pandemic-triggered food rush.
According to IBES data from Refinitiv, the company expects full-year revenue to decline 4% to 6%, compared to analysts’ estimate of 1.2%.
