  • Although Android 13 is yet to be officially released for smartphones, we’ve already heard about Android 14, which isn’t anticipated to arrive until 2023. Google has a habit of naming its Android flavours after desserts, though this has stopped with Android 13. However, the corporation has continued to use the desserts as internal codenames, and according to fresh revelations, the Android 14 or U version codename is Upside Down Cake.

If you recall, Android 13 came out in 2021 and its codename for T was Tiramisu, which is another dessert. But it seems Android 14 is already being prepped for next year, and the codename leak suggests so.
