  • Ambulance service response in B.C. is plagued by phone delays over the Thanksgiving long weekend. According to E-Comms 9-1-1, the extended wait time is due to call transferring difficulties. Emergency operators in British Columbia have once again suffered delays in responding to and processing emergency calls. The extended wait time for calls during the Thanksgiving weekend, according to an E-Comms 9-1-1 spokeswoman, was caused by delays in transmitting the calls to the B.C. Ambulance Service. People should not hang up when this happens, according to the organisation, but rather stay on the line until they can be helped.
