Battlepalooza starts on Android and iOS

Kyle | February 4, 2021 The multiplayer battle royale game Battlepalooza is now available for iOS and Android devices. In the exaggerated Battle Royale, 24 players compete against each other to receive exclusive prizes and valuable equipment in arenas based on real cities and using Google Maps.

The game was developed in collaboration with the Real World Games team at Google and uses the Google Maps platform. It turns real cities into playable battle arenas of the game. The game initially features Las Vegas and San Francisco. More city arenas will be added “continuously”.

Here are some more details from nWay:

Battlepalooza’s fight was developed for players of all skill levels and uses a unique mix of strategy, skill and a bit of luck – quick reflexes and quick trigger fingers must be complemented by tactical thinking. The arena-based battles of the game are large-scale, action-packed brawls based on the equipment of a role-playing game (RPG) and the character development of a multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA). The game’s arsenal of outrageous weapons make for a unique gaming experience on the go: gravity bombs, invisibility gear, sticky honey guns and other resourceful weapons are at your disposal when you face the competition.

In Battlepalooza, up to 24 players can team up in groups of two or three with their friends to play together with a drop-in-drop-out feature for easy matchmaking. The game uses the nWayPlay social platform for the friends list and chat system and also supports the creation of team codes for streamers so that their viewers can easily join their game sessions.

Battlepalooza is free to play. You can now download it from the App Store and Google Play.
