Asus Zenfone 3 Max smartphone to be launch in India on November 9: Price and Specifications

The Taiwanese Tech giants Asus is all set to launch another smartphone under its Zenfone 3 series in India. The smartphone will be named as Asus Zenfone 3 Max. The biggest highlight of the Zenfone 3 Max is its huge 4,100 mAh battery and a metal unibody with 2.5D curved glass design. Earlier, company launched four new smartphones in India which are named as: Zenfone 3Zenfone 3 UltraZenfone 3 Laser, and Zenfone 3 Deluxe.

Coming to the specifications, Asus Zenfone 3 Max will feature a 5.2-inch Full-HD (1080p) display which is said to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 with Adreno 505 graphics performance. The smartphone will come with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage that can be expanded further up to 128 GB via microSD card. Smartphone will run on Android v6.0.1 Marshmallow with ZenUI 3.0 OS on top.

As for the camera setup, Zenfone 3 Max will feature a 16 mega-pixel primary camera with PDAF (phase detection auto-focus), laser autofocus and f/2.0 aperture. The front camera is 8 mega-pixel and comes with Beautification modes. Both front and rear camera will be able to shoot videos in Full-HD resolution. Asus Zenfone 3 Max will feature fingerprint scanner at the back and will support wi-fi 802.11 b/g/n, wi-fi Direct, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS and AGPS.

The 4,100 mAh battery on Zenfone 3 Max is said to provide 38 days of standby time and 17 hours of talktime. Smartphone will support reverse charging and will double up as a power bank to charge other devices as well. It will support 4G VoLTE. Zenfone 3 Max is a dual SIM smartphone that comes with a hybrid SIM slot and supports micro and nano SIM cards. The device will be available in titanium gray, glacier silver and sand gold colour variants.

Zenfone 3 Max was priced at $201 or INR 13,500 at the time of launch in Taiwan. So, we can expect the smartphone to be priced between INR 13,500 to INR 16,000.
