The Taiwanese Tech Giants Asus has finally released there flagship smartphone under the Zenfone 3 Series, the Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe in the US market. The smartphone is priced at US $530.48. Company also launched the Asus Zenfone 3 Laser smartphone in the country. The Zenfone 3 Laser is priced at US $206.95. Asus hasn’t made an official announcement about the release, but both phone are now available on Amazon. The phones are unlocked, include a 1-year US warranty, and should start shipping out “within 2 to 5 weeks”.
Starting with the Zenfone 3 Deluxe, the device features a 5.7-inch full HD (1080p) Super AMOLED display with fingerprint sensor on the back. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 (Snapdragon 820 is also mentioned on the Amazon site) quad-core processor that comes with 6 GB RAM and 64/128/256 GB internal storage options. The storage on the variants can be expanded up to 256 GB via micro-SD card. The smartphones will run on Asus Zen UI based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The device also features a 23 mega-pixel primary camera with Sony IMX318 sensor, laser auto-focus (with proprietary TriTech system), PDAF (Phase Detection Auto Focus) with 0.03 second focusing ability, f/2.0 aperture, 4-axis optical image stabilization, 3-axis electronic image stabilization for steady 4K UHD video recording. The device is backed by a 3,000 mAh battery that features quick charge 3.0 technology and Type C v 3.0 USB port. There is also a Fingerprint scanner at the back of the smartphone.
The Zenfone 3 Laser on the other hand sports a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080p) display, and is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 430 SoC that comes with 2/4 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 128 GB via micro-SD card. The Asus Zenfone 3 Laser features a 13 mega-pixel rear camera with laser auto-focus, dual-tone LED flash, and electronic image stabilization. It sports an 8 mega-pixel front facing camera, and is powered by a 3,000 mAh battery.
