Asus has unveiled new models in its TUF Gaming series of laptops Wednesday, promising a “compelling and sustainable gaming experience.” The series The Ultimate Force (TUF) from Asus is known for offering affordable gaming laptops. The Asus TUF Gaming FX504, which was first released in India in May this year, now comes with a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card. Earlier, the laptop was delivered with graphic images of Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti. Separately, the company has now also revised the prices of previous models.
Specifications
The Asus TUF Gaming FX504 laptop has an IPS screen of 15.6 “full-HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a response time of 3 ms. An 8th generation powers it Intel Core i5-8300H or an 8th generation Intel Core i7-8750H processor, coupled with 8 GB DDR4 RAM and up to Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti graphics card. Regarding storage, the laptop gets a 1 TB Firecuda Hybrid SSD, coupled to a 128GB NVME PCI-E Gen3x4 SSD.
The gaming laptop comes with the Anti-Dust Cooling (ADC) system developed by Asus, with overboost of the fan. It helps to remove the build-up of thermal fins and provides control between fan performance and noise levels. The keyboard has a claimed lifetime of about 20 million keystrokes and 1.8 mm displacement.
Price
The price in India of the new Asus TUG Gaming FX504 model with the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 is set to Rs. 84,990 for the 8th generation Intel Core i5 variant and Rs. 95,990 for the 8th generation Intel Core i7 model. There is a new model that comes with GTX 1050 that is priced at Rs. 63,990. The new variants will be available from 1 August in LFR (Large Format Retail) stores, online stores, and Asus channel partners in India.
Meanwhile, the prices in India of the old Asus TUF Gaming FX504 laptops have also changed. The price in Asus TUF Gaming FX504 model in India with GTX 1050 Ti is now set to Rs. 71,990 (a decrease of Rs 4,000) for the 8th generation Intel Core i5 variant and Rs. 85,990 (a decline of Rs 5,000) for the 8th Intel Core i7 model. And for the TUF Gaming FX504 with GTX 1050 and a 128GB SSD, the price has now been set at Rs. 68,990 (a decrease of Rs. 4,000).
