Another sizeable sale is available for Mario games on the Nintendo Switch

News Summary:

  • There aren’t quite as many games in Wave 2, which is unfortunate for those who might be looking for more discounts in this one that weren’t available in the first round of sales. In fact, Wave 2 contains fewer games overall than Wave 1, with many of the games that were in Wave 1 being repeated. These deals are still worthwhile for those who may not own some of these yet or were holding off during Wave 1 to see what was coming next, given how rarely Nintendo games actually go on sale—sales on first-party games like Mario are particularly uncommon.

  • Super Mario Bros. video games that can be played on the Nintendo Switch family of gadgets are currently on sale in abundance once more from Nintendo. Since it’s the quickest way to start the game, the Nintendo Switch eShop is the best place to shop for these discounts, but other merchants have also joined in the sales in honor of Mario Day from earlier in the month. The Super Mario Bros. Movie was originally scheduled to hit theaters on April 7th, but the release date was moved up by two days. Conveniently, this second wave of Mario-themed deals runs from now until April 7th.

This week’s sale includes six different games, all of which are exclusively Mario-related. Since neither Donkey Kong nor Yoshi games are included in this sale, some of them are still worth looking through.
